- This entity supports the business of the other Converteam units in China and is involved in many different businesses. Marine & Offshore, Metals, Wind, Material Handling and Oil & Gas are the key areas of focus.
- The service activity is a key mission for Converteam Power Conversion (Shanghai). It provides services to the installed base of Converteam in China with hundreds of references all over the country since decades.
- A manufacturing workshop has been set up in order to assemble and test locally our drives for the Chinese market. Production started in 2007 both for our MV7000 medium voltage drives and our Pro-Wind wind converters.
- In addition, this entity is also involved in the global sourcing activity.
