Converteam is an engineering company providing customized solutions and systems converting electrical energy into productive performance.
Converteam’s own solutions and products include systems for:

- Electric propulsion
- Vessel control systems (VCS)
- Dynamic position control systems (DPS).
These are in addition to the other equipment which may be included in Converteam’s scope of responsibility via sub-contract and consortium arrangements.
Based on its proven expertise and experience in the offshore, oil & gas and industry, Converteam’s solutions can be applied throughout the complete process, from the early stages of exploration with siesmic studies to drilling and the production of oil & gas with fixed platforms, floating units and subsea systems and finally the transportation via tankers and pipelines.
As well as supporting the mainstream activities of oil & gas production, Converteam is present in all aspects of the necessary infrastructure providing equipment to offshore support vessels, cable and pipelayers and offloading tankers, all of which are highly specialized and integrated into the overall process.
