MV7000
Variable Speed Drive Solution with IGBT Technology
Using the latest generation of new power semiconductor press-pack IGBTs with more power and smaller losses, the new MV7000 converters offer the highest level of reliability, efficiency and power density. They can feed both induction and synchronous motors with dedicated high performance vector control, in all speed ranges, in particular for high speed compressor drives without a gearbox.
The MV7000 drives meet our customers’ expectations in terms of efficiency, reliability, compactness and low operating costs. They offer additional benefits such as:
- quality of motor supply (high-grade torque, no motor derating, low noise signature)
- minimum network interference (low harmonics, high power factor)
- easy to operate (advanced control features, functional block diagram, operating panel, remote PC)
- easy to maintain (monitoring system, low component count, all front access, modular construction).
This solution is particularly adapted to:
- gas transportation and storage
- refinery processes: hydro-generation, alkylation, desulphurisation

SD7000
Variable Speed Drive Solution with Thyristor Technology
Having been tested over many years, our thyristor-based technology combined with synchronous motor remains an essential solution, particularly for very high power up to 100MW. The SD7000 variable speed drive fitted with PEC CONTROLLER combines a modern high-tech control rack with mature thyristor technology.
This solution is particularly suited to control power in loads such as compressors, where high dynamic performance is required:
- steam-crackers
- LNG plants
- gas transportation (large pipes)
