Converteam awarded a contract for the Shanjing II Gas Pipeline project in China
On February 27, 2008, Converteam was awarded an order for the Xinxian station, one of the compression stations of the Shanjing II Pipeline Project in China managed by Huayou Gas Transport Company.

Converteam awarded a contract for Buzzard Enhancement Oil Field
Converteam has been awarded a contract for the delivery of two complete Variable Speed Drive Systems including 5MW induction motors and cooling systems for the fourth platform of Buzzard Enhancement Oil Field in the North Sea. This contract was the result of the fruitful cooperation with Therdmodyn SAS who will deliver the centrifugal gas compressors.

Converteam awarded a contract by Thermodyn (GE Oil & Gas) for 2 variable speed drive systems for OFON2 project
OFON2 is the second phase of the upstream gas lift site offshore Nigeria. It should boost Nigerian LNG once completed in 2010. Converteam’s scope mainly concerns 2 identical sets of variable speed drive system intended to drive 2 MP/HP centrifugal compressors. Each set will comprise a power transformer, a MV7616 converter and a 12.6MW 1800rpm induction motor. OFON2 reinforces Converteam’s presence in Nigeria after the successful commissioning of LNG trains 4, 5 & 6 in Bonny Island.

E.on Ruhrgas has just awarded Converteam and Thermodyn the first contract for the brand new Integrated Compressor Line, known as ICL.
This first order crowns the efforts undertaken by Converteam and Thermodyn over a period of five years for the design and marketing of an integrated motor-compressor concept improving gas transport and storage both onshore and offshore.

Converteam awarded a contract for the supply of the prototype electrical package to equip the Ormen Lange subsea gas compression station
On 22 June 2007 Converteam signed with Aker Kvaerner a contract for the engineering, procurement, construction and tests of the prototype electrical package for the Ormen Lange subsea compression station at great depth. Norsk Hydro, the Norwegian Oil & Gas company, awarded Aker Kvaerner with the main contract on 10 July, 2006.
