Cal Dive International, Inc. has awarded Converteam a major contract to provide a state-of-the-art Dynamic Position (DP) control system for the saturation diving vessel “Uncle John”

China Offshore Oil Engineering Co. Ltd, (COOEC), has awarded Converteam a contract valued in excess of £6 million for an integrated package of electrical systems for its newbuild heavy lift vessel for offshore oil & gas exploration and development.

Converteam will supply a complete package of electrical systems for six 292ft Tiger Shark series Offshore Supply Vessels (OSV). Such vessels are mainly used to construct, develop and service offshore oil and gas platforms.

Converteam has been awarded a major contract to design, deliver and commission an integrated package of electrical power systems and associated control systems for J. Ray McDermott’s deepwater DP construction vessel DB50.

Converteam has been selected by Teekay Petrojarl of Trondheim, Norway to engineer an innovative solution to replace ageing mooring assist and thruster control systems on its Petrojarl Varg FPSO.
