C-Series Vessel Control Systems (VCS)
As part of its core solutions for the marine and offshore industries Converteam offers its latest, enhanced C-Series Vessel Control System (VCS) for full remote supervisory control and monitoring of all ship systems.
A distributed system based on a high speed, redundant Ethernet network, the VCS integrates all of the ship’s systems such that an operator gains supervisory control and monitoring in a single system.
The system covers a wide range of applications throughout the naval, offshore and merchant marine industry. Installations have included fixed platforms, supply vessels, cruise liners, FPSOs, tankers, drill rigs, cable & pipe layers and LNG carriers, providing control and data gathering from systems which require just a few hundred plant signals to complex applications with several thousand I/O points.
