In the year 2005, Engineering Development Centre (EDC) of Converteam, was started with an objective to provide Technical support to main units of Converteam located in Europe and North America. The EDC is located in Chennai, fourth largest Metropolitan City of India.
Engineering Support is provided to the main Converteam units in the following areas:
- Industry
- Energy
- Marine and Offshore
- Oil & Gas
- Other Markets (Material Handling, Test Benches etc.)
EDC Engineers work along with European and North American Engineers in various projects with customers spread across the world.
