Converteam’s ProVAR system is a state-of-the-art dynamic VAR compensation system that allows economic continuous operation of heavy industrial plants, where electrical utilities and industries face challenges related to reactive power. Heavy industrial applications can cause disturbance to the electrical grid such as voltage unbalance, distorsion, flicker, voltage sags, poor power factor or even voltage instability.
