New grid codes adopted by transmission and distribution system operators at an international level have posed our customers a new set of challenges. Converteam offers solutions to wind farm developers and operators to answer their needs of reactive power compensation. These solutions can be used both for new wind farms and retrofit of existing wind farms. They ensure grid code compliance with fast, dynamic reactive current response, low grid system harmonics, and small footprint. They are easy to integrate into higher level systems or wind farm control systems. These solutions are either Low Voltage or Medium Voltage, based on the power capacity of the farm.
