Automotive Testing and Simulation
Converteam offers more than 30 years experience in the design, engineering and manufacture of powerful solutions for test bench applications for combustion engines to power trains and vibration simulation. Our offer covers the complete drive system from medium voltage down to the motor shaft and the mechanical construction. The automotive testing industry requires extreme performance, with highly sophisticated software features as a key to success. We provide innovative software modules, e.g. the patented ETPS engine torque pulsation simulation system which is an embedded feature of the drive software and hence unique in this market.
Hybrid Engine Testing
The demand for alternative energy conversion technologies shows a clear trend towards hybrid engines in the automotive industry. The specific features and advantages of such systems are under development within the framework of several R&D programs. Long before others, Converteam embarked on a course towards the hybrid vehicle and fuel cell technology. Based on our experience and know-how as well as the hardware and software available, we have developed a system that can be easily combined with our drives to provide high performance testing in the automotive industry for electric or hybrid vehicles.
