Wind Tunnel Testing Areas
Wind tunnel testing has a major role to play in the development of high-speed vehicles, not just with regard to the aerodynamic form, but also in order to ensure that cooling air is effectively directed into the vehicle. Fuel Cell and Battery Simulation Test Bench
Converteam has achieved comprehensive expertise in fuel cell and battery simulation systems. The test bench system can be used either as a standalone system acting as a battery simulation unit or it can be used to absorb the battery stroke/fuel cell energy or in conjunction with our ProTX drive converter system where we use energy exchange between the driven equipment and the fuel cell as such. In view of the continuous development of the market, high flexibility of simulation hardware and software is a must. The parameters of the system delivered have to meet extreme voltage requirements and at the same time must also be very accurate in terms of dynamic response and ripple. We provide the know-how and the experience needed to satisfy these requirements.
Electric Motor & Inverter Testing
The use of electric motors and generators in variable speed drive systems in industry requires testing under normal operating conditions. This means that machines must be tested together with inverters and various measurements must be performed under these conditions.
