Converteam’s Power Management System (PMS) is an automation architecture designed to provide full control over the complete power network of industrial plants, allowing reliable and flexible energy management and supervision.
It ensures the maximum electrical power availability of the plant, under all circumstances, in order to avoid electrical power failures resulting in production losses.
The PMS system manages in coherence the regulation functions of Power Generation (load sharing between the running generators) and the logic functions of Power Distribution (Load Shedding, Automatic Transfer...) in case of overload or sudden loss of generating capacity.
Our system provides ergonomic and efficient operator interface to ensure analysis and control of a plant electrical system. It has a long lasting life and has the capacity to easily communicate with all international standard equipment provided by multi-source suppliers.
This solution, based on a proven technology, allows us in particular to optimize the global electric energy costs during the exploitation life of the plant.
