Offshore
A leading supplier of dynamic positioning, vessel control and power and propulsion packages. Drawing on a century of experience, we are able to provide complete support through project management, feasibility studies, system calculations and analysis, system integration, installation, service and training.
Naval
We specialize in the design, integration, manufacture, commissioning and through life support of electrical power, propulsion and automation systems for Naval ships. One of our particular strengths is in the overall system design, which we optimize to meet the needs of the customer. We have an enviable track record in providing solutions for the navies of the world and in particular the French Navy, the US Navy and the Royal Navy.
Renewables
Number one in the UK and a major European supplier of renewable energy systems. Our supply includes second generation direct drive permanent magnet generators and power conversion equipment able to deliver grid code compliant power. We are also deeply involved in both tidal and wave power generation where our unique Compact Induction Generators (CIG) are ideally suited to the sub sea environment and our patented permanent magnet linear generator technology makes direct power generation from waves economically viable. Our total system capability combined with our vast marine experience provides our customers with a single source from the generator to the grid including substations, automation, control and monitoring systems.
Metals
We have years of expertise in metals applications, especially for steel and aluminum. Our supply extends from consultancy services upto complete turnkey electrical and automation packages. We are solution providers for Hot and Cold mill modeling. AGC and shape systems. Together with our MV7000 medium voltage IEGT AC drives we are able to provide the total electrical and automation requirements for both new rolling mills and revamping of existing plants.
