Minisemi D built-in units are compact digital static converters for the speed control of DC motors. Minisemi D are available for 1 and 4-quadrant operation and for supply voltages of 400VAC and 500VAC. The unit type current ranges from 40A DC to 1250A DC. The Minisemi D features simple handling, flexible control structure and additional technology modules. For the integration into automation systems, different types of fieldbus couplers (e.g. Profibus) are available in option. Parameter adjustment and display of error messages are possible using an integrated control unit or, more comfortable, a PC. Automatic optimization functions are available for field current control, armature current control and speed control. On request, Minisemi D can also be offered as a complete unit, built in a cabinet ready for installation. For higher drive powers, the type series Maxisemi D/I is available.
