The Logidyn D2 high-performance Modular Control and Computing System is a highly dynamic control system, an economic solution for automation applications in industrial sectors, such as steel manufacturing, rolling mills, paper factories as well as loading and unloading plants. Logidyn D2 permits not only the implementation of simple drive control, but also allows complex, widely distributed plant systems. Logidyn D2 is a freely programmable, modular multiprocessor system with a realtime operating system. Thanks to its high performance, it can be used for fast information processing, in order to solve time-critical tasks in drive applications and dynamic process control as well as process management, e.g. for realtime simulation. Several controls with different scan times can be processed in parallel on one or more processor boards.
