Saving Energy with ProCrane
ProCrane is based on the principle of Active Energy Management (AEM). At its basic level, the AEM configuration contains power units, which can be configured either as mains pulse inverter or as motor pulse inverters in order to enable generation of a controlled DC link voltage when connected to a mains supply, or in order to control AC motors when connected to a DC link supply.

Connecting such units via a common DC link , the drive system stores energy, which is generated during the load lowering phase, and releases the energy during hoisting or accelerating operations.
